ARES 18 SAR Successfully Launched

The ARES 18 SAR Search and Rescue Boat, developed by ARES Shipyard for the General Directorate of Coastal Safety, has been successfully launched.

This important milestone marks another significant step in the project, which includes the construction of 16 ARES 18 SAR vessels, and highlights ARES Shipyard’s capability to deliver high-performance, mission-ready platforms for search and rescue operations.

Measuring 18.5 meters in length and featuring an aluminum hull, the ARES 18 SAR has been designed to provide exceptional performance, durability, and operational reliability. Built in compliance with Türk Loydu classification rules, the vessels will contribute significantly to search and rescue operations within Türkiye’s maritime jurisdiction areas and the Turkish Straits.
