BMT and ARES Shipyard Deliver Ferries
According to BMT, the vessels were delivered within a seven-month time frame, with the remaining six vessels on order to be delivered over the next four months.
Designed to transport guests to the new Anantara Doha Island Resort and Spa – located eleven kilometers east of Doha – the vessels measure 18 metres x 6.7 metres.
Constructed out of composite materials, each catamaran can carry over 50 passengers.
On board, the vessel features business class seating and refreshment facilities within a fully air conditioned passenger saloon. The vessel is capable of a maximum speed of 29 knots and a service speed of 22 knots.
