ARES 55 OPV OFFSHORE PATROL VESSEL
ARES 55 OPV is a 55m in length, fast hybrid Offshore Patrol Vessel designed by BMT of the UK. With its quad-main propulsion system solution, the vessel provides full redundancy, durable and reliable offshore patrolling operations with diesel, electrical or booster (all diesel and electrical) modes. The vessel is equipped with a certified onboard helicopter landing platform for helo search and rescue missions and two water jet propulsion RHIB boats for multi mission capability such as boarding and interception. Moreover, ARES 55 OPV is capable of day/night observations with long range electrooptic system and drones remotely operated onboard. Unmanned underwater search missions and inspections can be carried out with its underwater ROV located on the lower aft deck.
